The Melissa & Doug Wooden Pegs & Mallet toy is a classic wooden pounding bench that features colorful pegs that need to be pounded down with a mallet. How WE used it/What we liked
A great toy if you child has some hand function to grip the mallet. Our daughter struggled to keep hold of the mallet, but would either just bang them with her hands (encouraging both), or we used some “cohesive bandage” to essentially strap the mallet in her hand and keep the grasp so she could bang it with that and still work on gross motor function.
