Learning Resources Ruffs House Tactile Set
The Learning Resources Ruffs House Tactile Set is a sensory toy that provides tactile exploration for young children. It features a cute doghouse with different textured “bones” with a range of materials and textures that encourage sensory exploration and fine motor skills development.
Recommended for children aged 3 and up.
How WE used it/What we liked
We haven’t done alot of “sensory” type toys, but this was a good one we tried early on when we were experimenting with textures and tactile sensation. The bones are a good size to hold in small hands, and you can either get your child to reach in and grab/touch them without seeing, or like we did it, have them outside the kennel and reach to grab, before putting them in the kennel.
