THe Fisher Price Laugh Learn Piggy Bank is an interactive piggy bank toy with songs, words, sounds, and 10 colourful coins to put in and then take out.
Recommended for children aged 6 months and up.
This was a great product early on while our daughter was finding some release function in her affected hand as the coins are pretty thin, but have a lip on the edges so it gives some resistance to hold against, but not alot of release function is required to let go.
We would either hold out the coins to encourage reaching in different directions, or place a line of playdoh down on the table and stand up the coins to grab from there.
Some supination/positioning required, but we’d adjust the angle of the pig where needed to encourage success. You could also position the pig on the side and open the larger opening to drop into instead.
Needs some accuracy so can add frustration sometimes, but position to encourage success or place on it’s side and drop the coins straight into the pigs belly with the side window.
