Cohesive Bandage

This is one of the staple items we keep in our cupboard that we’ve found multiple uses for. We’ve used it to provide grip on markers/pencils as it’s easy to work with and cost effective, play time and putting “casts” on dolls to replicate AFOs, holding pencils in her affected hand early on where she couldn’t grip it herself but we wanted to work on gross motor skills, for holding wedges in place for casting of her leg before final casting.

The list goes on – it’s a great option for adding grip, holding things in place where tape would be overkill, providing some pressure like a bandage. A great item to have in the cupboard just in case.

Easy to work with, and you can tear it if needed but scissors will provide a clean cut obviously.

If used on skin it will leave an imprint due to the texture, but it goes away. Make sure to press it on itself to ensure maximum grip, and don’t stretch it tooooo far.
