The Tomy Pop Up Pirate Game is a fun & suspenseful game where players take turns inserting plastic swords into slots on a barrel, trying to avoid triggering the pirate who will pop up suddenly. Who will make the pirate pop?
Recommended for kids aged 4 and up.
A good game if your child has reasonable grip strength and some wrist dexterity and co-ordination to help locate the swords in the slots. This was fun and built an element of suspense not knowing when it’ll pop.
The swords need a little force to push in and can be tricky to align, and the twisting of the pirate to “set” it was often a bit fiddly for us. Still, a fun game.
