The Pressman Let’s Go Fishin’ Magnetic Fishing Game is an engaging and interactive toy game suitable that features a rotating fishpond magnetic fishing rods that players use to catch as many fish as they can. The colorful and fun design of the game makes it appealing to young children, while also helping to develop hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Recommended for kids aged 4 and up.
This is a fun game that is similar to some of the other magnetic games, but it adds the element of movement, which helps to build skills regarding placement and timing, which we liked. We’d get our daughter to fish them out with the rod in her affected hand, and remove the fish in her other hand. You can add another step of trying to place them back in depending on function.
The rod is fairly thin so may be tricky to hold depending on grip function. If grip is an issue, you can try something like “cohesive bandage” to help keep the rod secured in the hand and still work on gross motor movements through the shoulder and arm.
