The Battat Bristle Blocks toy is a set of 80 assorted shapes that are soft and rubbery and have interlocking “bristles” that alloy you to connect to each other and create shapes and structures. A great toy for imagination, and also sensory with the texture from the bristles.
Recommended for children aged 2 years and up.
These were a fun toy and something we used to encourage static holding via the hemi hand, either by placing the items into the hand or getting her to reach and grab smaller pieces. The non-affected hand would then do the building up of further blocks while the hemi hand held.
Great for dexterity and precision, supination, and the difficulty can be increased if you’re working on strength etc by pushing the pieces tighter together, or looser if required for success.
They can be a bit tight to pull apart if pushed together too hard, but are easily loosened up if you need to give assistance.
